Children's Theater of Charlotte is kicking off the 2013-14 season with Tarzan: The Stage Musical, an action-packed story that portrays the true meaning of family. And YOU could swing right into the McColl Family Theater to the show of your choice! Two winners will each receive 2 tickets to the production, which runs September 20 - October 20.
At the core of the smash-hit Disney animated film and Broadway production is the story of an outsider trying to fit in. Based on Edgar Rice Burrough's classic novel Tarzan of the Apes, this high-swinging musical tells the story of Tarzan, orphaned as a baby on the shores of West Africa and taken in to be raised by a tribe of gorillas. As he grows into a man, he strives to earn the acceptance of his ape father. When an expedition from England enters their territory, Tarzan has his first encounter with others humans as he meets Professor Porter, his daughter Jane, and their hunting guide Clayton. Everyone will enjoy this heartwarming story about the true meaning of family.
