The Observer's annual summer vacation photo contest
We hope you’ll be back from your vacation before Sept. 10. That’s the day we need a photo from your trip. Give us your best shot for our annual “How I Shot My Summer Vacation” contest.
Two winners - chosen by the Observer staff - will each receive a $25
gift card. All four winners will each receive a framed Beachtown travel
poster (see them on display at www.beachtownposters.com), plus a duffel bag of goodies.
On Sept. 23, we’ll publish the winners in the Charlotte Observer, and present a slideshow of the best photos on CharlotteObserver.com.

Best People Picture
Best Scenic Shot
Plus... You can vote for Readers’ Choice in this contest through the summer.
Basic rules: One photo per category. (If you submit more than one you will be disqualified.) Images must have been taken after May 25, 2012. Cropping is allowed, but images cannot be digitally manipulated.
HOW TO ENTER: It’s easy.
1) Register with Upickem and log in. (If you have registered for a previous CharlotteObserver.com contest, you can log in with that username and password.)
2) Then upload your photo, following the instructions given.
