 How does it work?
We’ve all done it: Plopped a Santa hat on Duke the dog or Mittens the cat and snapped a photo. Sounds like the makings of a great contest to us.
When you upload your photo, include the pet’s name and what makes your furry one so special. Extra points for older photos and ones that include kids.
Is there a prize? Yes! The best shot will win a restaurant
gift card. We’ll name the winner and run some of the photos online
and in print Jan. 1.
Is there voting? No. Observer editors will select the winning photo.
When is the deadline? 11:59 p.m., Dec. 13.
How do I upload the photo?
It's simple. Click here to go to the submission page. Your entry won't automatically go online. It will be reviewed by an editor, and then will join the online slideshow.
